Michael Coffey has been involved in publishing for over 35 years and has previously published Greenkeeper, The Golf Course and Amateur Golf (for the English Golf Union), as well as a number of Club histories, books, brochures and other golf related publications.
He is a member at Hoylake (Royal Liverpool),  Frinton, Aldeburgh and Royal Cinque Ports Golf Clubs,and also a member of the R & A.

DAVID DOBBY

David Dobby was Editor of The Golf Club Secretary for seven years.
He is a member of Deal (Royal Cinque Ports) and written two books; 'Royal Cinque Ports - a Personal Record' and 'Golf on the Kent Coast'.
It was the writing of these two books that led him to a new career at the age of 58. When Michael Coffey, the publisher of the second book, bought The Golf Club Secretary he asked David to be the Editor and this has allowed him to combine his passion for golf with his work..

VIV GRIMWADE

Viv Grimwade spent 32 years in banking and as a result is hugely grateful to the excutive officer who decided to 'cull' her level of management, thus enabling her to have a year of idle poncing before joining The Golf Club Secretary. Viv, who is a keen golfer,  has a First Class Honours Degree in organising, especially filing. She is pictured here with her faithful black labrador's namesake.
